The 2023 SAABL regular season ended on 9/17.  The semifinal games were played on Sun., 10/1. 

 

Game 1 was between the #1 seed Matadors and the #4 seed Rangers.  This game turned out to be a pitching duel with the Matadors coming out on top with a 2-1 victory.  It was a close game with great pitching and good defense.  Congratulations to the Matadors on their win to advance to the Championship!

Game 2 was between the #2 seed Cowboys and the # 3 seed Bandits.   The Bandits started out fast by scoring 3 runs in the top of the 1st inning but the Cowboys answered right back with 4 runs in the bottom half of the first and never looked back.  As the game progressed, the Cowboys continued to hit well behind solid pitching and defense, resulting in a 13-4 win for the Cowboys, securing their spot against the Matadors in the 2023 SAABL Championship next Sun., 10/8 (10:00 AM start at Madison High School).  Congratulations to the Cowboys!
